Mechanic Legends Tuning Guide: Stage 1, Stage 2 and the B10 Build
Last updated:
Tune your car with the Handheld Tuner, or build a 2019 Avelin B10 with twin turbos and a Stage 2 flame map.
Use the Handheld Tuner beside your car to open TUNING, then select and install an available tune. On the 1974 Ferrucna Taurino setup, Stage 1 offers +6% Gain for about $13,000. For the B10 flame-map project, install the twin-turbo upgrade and select Stage 2.
Open TUNING and Install a Tune
You need access to the Handheld Tuner and the car you want to tune. The tuner loads custom tunes that can increase horsepower and boost.
- Stand beside the car and use the Handheld Tuner to open TUNING.
- Select an available tune for the car.
- Install the selected tune. On the Taurino, a successful Stage 1 installation displays “Stage 1 flashed!”
The Handheld Tuner game pass costs 125 Robux. Tune installation can also cost in-game cash; budget for it separately. See the game pass comparison for other purchase choices.
Taurino Stage 1: Gain, Cost and Availability
The 1974 Ferrucna Taurino tuning menu includes Stock, Stage 1 and Stage 2. In this configuration, Stage 1 displays +6% Gain and costs approximately $13,000 in-game cash to install. Stage 2 is marked unavailable.
B10 Twin Turbo and Stage 2 Flame Map
For this 2019 Avelin B10 project, have the twin-turbo upgrade available and use the Handheld Tuner to install Stage 2.
- Stop the B10 and remove its Exhaust.
- Install the twin-turbo upgrade.
- Use the Handheld Tuner beside the car and select Stage 2.
- Pick up the removed components and store them in Your Parts.
This Stage 2 configuration is described as providing a 5% gain and a flame map; the B10 produces visible exhaust flames while driving. The 5% figure applies to the tuned configuration, not a separately measured twin-turbo gain. Installing the twin turbo before tuning is the sequence for this build, not a stated requirement for every Stage 2 tune.
Choose the Tune for Your Car
- Already have the Taurino? Choose Stage 1 when you want the available upgrade for that configuration and have the installation cash.
- Want a flame-map project? Choose the B10 twin-turbo and Stage 2 configuration.
The Taurino’s 6% and the B10’s 5% apply to different cars and setups, so they do not establish which stage gives a larger gain on the same car. With traction control off, the tuned B10 configuration is easier to slide; see the driving controls guide for the controls.
