Mechanic Legends Engine Models and Part Compatibility
Last updated:
Use engine model labels to find matching components in Mechanic Legends, then follow fitment and assembly prompts when installing them.
The engine models are 1.6L Inline-4, 2.6L Inline-6, 3.9L V12, 5.2L V10, and 5.7L V8. Browse Parts Direct by engine model, choose compatible parts, and resolve any prerequisite or missing-part prompts before starting the car.
Engine Models and Matching Components
Use the displacement and configuration together when identifying a part. The available labels and shopping entries differ by model:
- 1.6L Inline-4: The Parts Direct engine category includes Block, Billet Engine Block, Exhaust Manifold, Intake Manifold, Intercooler, Radiator, Transmission, Turbo Exhaust Manifold, and Turbo Intake Manifold.
- 2.6L Inline-6: A stock Intercooler carries this engine label.
- 3.9L V12: An engine display is available at Parts Direct. Model-labeled components include Block, Exhaust Manifold, Transmission, Wiring, Intake Manifold, Valve Cover, and Radiator.
- 5.2L V10: Its Parts Direct display lets you browse parts; an Exhaust also carries this model label.
- 5.7L V8: Model-labeled components include Engine Block, Valve Cover, Exhaust Manifold, Intake Manifold, and Wiring Harness.
A matching label helps identify a component, but a list of parts alone does not establish that a complete engine swap will fit a particular car. For individual component prices and other parts, see the parts directory.
Find Engines and Parts at Parts Direct
Travel to Parts Direct to browse engines and matching parts; teleporting can shorten the trip. In the Store, open Engine and select the model you need. You can also approach the 5.2L V10 display and press E to browse its parts.
Collect counter purchases at the counter. Orders placed through the workshop store are delivered to the workshop. For the complete ordering and collection process, see how to buy and store parts.
Fitment, Assembly Order and Startup
Equip the Wrench, open Your Parts, and aim the selected component at its mounting position. Hold the installation control shown on screen. If the game says the part does not fit the current engine, choose a compatible component; the rejected part has not been installed.
An assembly prerequisite is a different problem: install the named part first, then return to the component you were fitting. For example, during 1.6L Inline-4 reassembly, install the Valve Cover before the Exhaust Manifold when prompted. If another component requires the Exhaust Manifold first, refit it before continuing.
Missing components can prevent startup. The Engine prompt can name a missing Block, Wiring, Intake Manifold, or Exhaust Manifold; install the parts it identifies and address any fitment or prerequisite prompts along the way. For fault-specific help, see engine problems and missing parts.
Hardware Options for a Specific Engine
For the 1.6L Inline-4, Parts Direct lists a standard Block for $3,050 and a Billet Engine Block for $14,100. The Billet option costs $11,050 more for the individual block. The same engine category also lists Turbo Exhaust Manifold and Turbo Intake Manifold options.
The 2019 Avelin B10 has a separate twin-turbo project: its Exhaust is removed for the twin-turbo installation. See the B10 build and tuning guide for that project and software tuning.
